Two weeks ago, I was invited to The Ocean Club, A Four Seasons Resort for their Rosé Paradis Garden. When I saw the invite email I smiled so wide and immediately messaged my mom. My first thought was Wow this is really happening, my first ‘influencer’ event. After three years of consistent blogging, the opportunity had arrived. I was so excited and grateful. Honestly, when I think about it, it was very on brand for my first event to be wine pairing at a luxury resort.
What (Not) To Wear
The invite called for Garden Chic attire and even though I had an idea of what that looked like, I went straight to Google to make sure. I thought of a few options I had in my closet and figured I didn’t need to buy anything. I was so wrong. The week of the event, I tried on two dresses at home and they were just not fitting right- actually one didn’t fit at all. Although I was disappointed, I still had two more days to look around the island.
The next day, I went to The Closet and Co and found this fabulous set. While trying on the outfit, I spoke to the owner of the store and we realized that we were both attending the event. The invite didn’t allow for a plus one so we decided we’d hang out together that night.

Rosé Paradis Garden
The big day had arrived. A Rosé Paradis Garden was held at 6pm on Thursday November 11th, yes 11/11. How cool is that? I received a confirmation email that morning, however I still wondered how/if the event would take place, because it rained all day. I arrived at 5:45pm (look at me being early) and after a long walk around the property, I was greeted with a glass of Whispering Angel Rosé. Now this is definitely my idea of fun.

The event was moved under a pavilion by the pool. Tables were on each side of the bar, adorned with flowers, trees, candles and standing chandeliers. It was beautiful.

The night was filled with rosé, singing, a lot of photo taking, laughs and delicious appetizers. I really enjoyed the Andros Avocado & Heirloom Tomato Bruschetta, Apricot Basil Cream Cheese & Almond Crostini, House Smoked Atlantic Salmon Deviled Eggs, Grilled Blue Prawn Cocktail and the Ossetra Caviar Blini. You can check out the full menu here.

Escape to France
A Rosé Paradis Garden is available Wednesday to Saturday from 5pm to 10pm. Reservations are required and can be made by calling 242 363 2501 or by emailing dining.oceanclub@fourseasons.com. Their amazing menu offerings and wine portfolio will transport you to the heart of France and honestly we could all use a vacation. Thank you to the Ocean Club for the invite, I can’t wait to visit again.
P.S. If you haven’t read my blog about Dune’s fabulous brunch as yet, you can check it out here.
