The Best Weekend in Abaco

For the entire year, I had been longing for an out island vacation. However, being busy with work, friends and the random things that come up in life I didn’t plan a trip and thought I would probably do it for my birthday or later on in the year. October or later seemed too far though, so one hot summer night, mid July I messaged my friend (when I should have been sleeping) about going to Abaco, Eleuthera or Exuma for the August Monday holiday. The next morning, I woke up to her saying that Abaco sounded great. In my disbelief, I asked if she was serious because I was serious and I was ready to book everything right now — and did! We booked flights and found a cute Airbnb in Marsh Harbour that same day. We had such a fun time and I’m so happy we went. Here’s everything we got up to.

Solo Adventures: Your sign to start doing things alone

Last year, I found myself living in a new country with access to many exciting things to do. Life in a big city is amazing and moving from The Bahamas to the UK was an incredible experience. As someone that only went to the movies alone a few times, I had to constantly push myself out of my comfort zone to experience new things. 3 Fun Activities To Do In Nassau: Part Two

Now that I’m back home and finding balance in work and life, it’s really important to me to keep exploring new hobbies. Over the past few months, I’ve seen social media posts about pottery making, an escape room, cooking classes and bowling. Seeing all of the exciting things to do made me want to explore more.
