4 Holiday Events to Attend in Nassau

It’s the holidays! That time of the year when you’re with your family and friends eating and drinking and having a good ole merry time. When everyone from your mom, your job, your aunt and your best friend’s sister cousin son is having a party and you have invites to all. Special mention goes to all the “Hey, I’m coming home next week” texts and “We gotta hang out before I leave” people that you see at the one event your friends dragged you to. In the Bahamas, we know how to truly enjoy the holidays and while we may not be able to build a snowman, we sure can make sandcastles. The weather is usually in the high 70s in the day and high 60s at night. We are a tropical paradise always. Fall Festivals in Nassau

It’s always a delicious time in Nassau during the Autumn season. September to November, there are numerous annual festivals all waiting to satisfy your foodie cravings. This year was no different. I tried to attend each one and savor the flavors of the islands and everywhere else. I realized that I am truly a festival girl. I am festivals and they are me. We are one. Bucket List: The Bahamas Edition

The Bahamas has always been a top listed destination to travel to for a dream vacation or any holiday really. Most recently, I saw a tweet that listed my beautiful country as the number one trending destination for New Year’s 2019. I think it’s amazing, that so many people want to bring in the new year in paradise. But really, who could blame them? Millions of people visit our islands every year just hoping for sunny days filled with clear turquoise waters and a fun time. That tweet really got me thinking about my holiday plans and my possible 2019 travels.

I thought it would be pretty interesting to Bucket list my top 5 islands to visit for the remainder of this year and the upcoming months of the new year. Definitely, I want to see everything! 700 islands and cays? Don’t mind if I do. I just know that may not be feasible in the time frame. But you never know right?
