Picture this: you’re sipping a delicious frozen (alcoholic, of course) drink, lounging by the pool, soaking up some sun, music is playing and it’s all around good vibes. Relaxation, food and fun are in the air and you’re surrounded by the most gorgeous waters. If this sounds like the perfect Sunday to you, you MUST visit Great Guana Cay, Abaco and head to Nipper’s and Grabbers Beach Bars.
After docking on Guana Cay, on your immediate left is Grabbers. For the best Sunday ever though, I’d recommend making a right and heading up the path to Nipper’s first. Nipper’s Beach Bar is so beautiful; colorful tiki huts surrounding by miles of turquoise water and 2 pools. It literally doesn’t get better than this.

The gorgeous scenery, however, is not what keeps people coming back week after week. It’s the Infamous Nipper; the namesake specialty drink (the frozen one, in particular) that is so addictive. It is delicious. This frozen delight is an unique blend of rum, grenadine, pineapple and maybe orange juices, more rum and did I mention rum?

You’ve had your fill of throwing your hands up to “Party in The USA” and about 3 down in frozen Nipper’s. It’s time to keep the party going at Grabbers. Here, you will definitely be able to mash it up to “Splinters” while eating the cheesiest tastiest homemade pizza ever. Yes, they do have an specialty drink as well, named, you guessed it; Grabber. The beach at Grabbers is just as picturesque as the one at Nippers but it is more accessible and you’ll definitely see boats docked and people kayaking away.

When are you heading to Guana Cay and can I come with?
