I finally did it! I took my first solo trip this month. Yes, I’ve traveled alone before, but not like this. I was either visiting a friend or going to work. This trip was different, something special and I am so happy I did. With only one real solo trip in the books, I’m definitely not a world traveler or expert. However, I learned some things about myself and the whole “solo travel” world that may help you book your first solo trip in 2019 or make plans for another one.
It’s September, summer is officially coming to an end and Fall is sneaking right up on us. Unless, of course you don’t live in a tropical paradise that literally has sun almost all of the 365 days of the year. However, school is open now, most people have already taken a few vacations for the year and patiently waiting for the holiday season. Day parties have also concluded, but boy I am super excited for their return next spring/summer.
Picture this: you’re sipping a delicious frozen (alcoholic, of course) drink, lounging by the pool, soaking up some sun, music is playing and it’s all around good vibes. Relaxation, food and fun are in the air and you’re surrounded by the most gorgeous waters. If this sounds like the perfect Sunday to you, you MUST visit Great Guana Cay, Abaco and head to Nipper’s and Grabbers Beach Bars.
