This month, I’ve had a few people reach out for restaurant, event and activity recommendations and it literally inspired me to make lists (that I’ve shared on my socials) and of course the reason we’re here — a blog. I’ve officially been back home for a year now and realized that I’ve been dining all over the island this year and figured it was time for a Restaurant Wrapped. So as of December 2025, here are my favorite restaurants in Nassau for lunch. I figured it’ll be easier to separate by meal time so I’ll be back with a dinner recommendation list soon.
Here are my favorite restaurants in Nassau for lunch:
Solemar
I rang in the new year at this restaurant and to my surprise, it was an absolute delight. My friend and I enjoyed an array of appetizers — greek meatballs, fresh fish, calamari, fried chicken bites, seafood crepes and sandwiches. While I wasn’t enthused by the seafood crepes and fish dishes, everything else was stunning. I will probably order those meatballs everytime I visit. I also had a mango margarita that was excellent. Solemar is also the perfect place for lunch with a view. The ocean blues are seen for miles and miles if you dine on the outdoors and thankfully, the outdoor area is covered. Throughout the year, I also returned for dinner and lunch, so yes we’re starting this list off pretty strong.

Sushi Rokkan
I’ve loved Sushi Rokkan for years. I first visited about 7/8 years ago and have been back countless times. If I want sushi and I’m in the west or don’t want Seafront, this is usually my go-to. Over the years, the menu has expanded and they’ve even changed the decor, but the food has remained consistently good. I ordered takeout for lunch a few times and even celebrated my birthday here this year. My favorite roll is the Old Fort Bay Roll and I always get a miso soup with lamb chops or other grilled meat. I’ve been meaning to try their ramen, so that’s next on my list.

Kyma
My first visit at Kyma years ago wasn’t memorable. However, this year I realized that me and their lamb gyro and wedges go together real bad. I like my gyros Greek and if you enjoy Acropolis’ food, then you’ll be pleased with Kyma. Whether taking out or dining in, I’ve enjoyed this restaurant multiple times this year. For apps, their spanokopita and lamb cigars are also delish.
Costa
I finally made it to Costa this year and I was blown away with its beauty. This restaurant is located at Rosewood, which is already gorgeous but Costa is surrounded by ponds of koi fish with an indoor outdoor look and feel, which really makes you feel like you’ve been transported to an entirely different place. I had the chorizo nachos and carne asada (steak) tacos and they were chef’s kiss.

What are your favorite lunch spots and dishes? Did any of my faves make your list?
