Here I Come: New Orleans

One time for the birthday chick!!! Libra Season has begun and my birthday is coming up; October 8th to be exact. I’ve been wanting to do a birthday trip with my closest friends for a few years now, but it never worked out. This year I was determined to celebrate elsewhere, even if I had to do it alone. To my surprise, one of my best friends was able to make the trip. Can you say Girls’ Trip?! I knew that I wanted to travel somewhere new and being that the emphasis of my blog is on The Bahamas, naturally the ideas of Bimini, Eleuthera and Exuma danced in my head.

Sapphire Blue Hole, Eleuthera

Last weekend, I traveled to North Eleuthera with a few goals in mind. One being, visiting the Sapphire Blue Hole and hopefully jumping into it. I became particularly interested in these enormous water caves this summer, but was too chicken to actually visit one when I was in Abaco. I researched the depths, ways of getting in and out of them and definitely what creatures could be found inside. Ya girl does not do animals well. I watched numerous videos and googled photos, everything and anything that would help me build up the courage to make the leap.
