Did someone say Sushi?!

Shrimp tempura, filled with spicy crab, asparagus and cream cheese, topped with avocado and barbecue eel. If you haven’t guessed by now, I’m talking about sushi; in particular my favorite roll, Seafront Sushi’s Head Hunter Roll. About six years ago, my friends and I made a day out of Friendship, Food and Fun (#FFF, you know who you are) and visited Seafront for lunch. I was hesitant about trying the rolls because of a past experience as a child. However, I swallowed hard and sunk my teeth into a Volcano Roll.  At that moment, I heard the angels sing and heaven was literally in my mouth. Since that life-changing experience, I have become an addict for everything seafood and cream cheese filled rolled up into rice, always looking to get my sushi fix. Here’s a list of my favorite sushi spots in Nassau and my overall ratings. Ratings are 1-5 (one being the lowest, five being the highest).

Seafront Sushi: East Bay Street

Taste: 4.5, Variety: 5, Service: 2.5, Ambiance: 3, Price: Average

Favorite Roll(s): Head Hunter and Volcano (duh)

 

Sakura Sushi: West Bay Street (Westridge)

Taste: 3.5, Variety: 3.8, Service: 3, Ambiance: 3, Price: Average

Favorite Roll(s): 242 and Dancing Eel (Sidenote: Steamed Gyoza, thank me later)

Sushi Rokkan: Old Fort Bay

Taste: 3.5, Variety: 4, Service: 3, Ambiance: 3.5, Price: Above Average

Favorite Roll(s): Make Me Crazy

Favorite Roll(s): Honestly, I don’t have any. I’ve visited on two occasions and each time I was disappointed in the sushi offerings.
