I recently saw a tweet that said that Nassau only had places to eat or beach activities and that couldn’t be further from the truth. Now, of course everything is at a cost. There are no free activities on this list, but for some, you decide how much you spend, so that’s a plus. If you missed part one and part two of this series, check them out.
Here are more fun things to do in Nassau:
Charm Bar
How Charming of you charm bar launched in February of this year and have held monthly pop-ups. With this experience, you choose your bracelet chain or keychain/ bag charm, how many charms you like and have your jewelry piece assembled for you. Their pop-ups are usually held on Saturdays at Bon Vivants. However, they are also available for private events like birthday parties, wedding & baby showers and corporate events. Stay tuned for their October pop-up date!

Perfume Making
In January, I visited OlFactory in Atlanta and made my own fragrance. This experience was so fun and I would definitely visit again to make another scent. However, whenever I decide to have another perfume making experience I don’t have to catch a flight because Scentsy Aroma Bar now has a downtown location where you can make your signature perfume. This new location is in a much larger space and provides seating for a more enjoyable time. So perhaps, a girls day outing or even date night! Scentsy is also located at the Mall of Marathon, the international terminal of the airport and available for mobile bookings.

Candle Making
I’ve never made a candle before this year and somehow, I’ve already made two. My first experience was at Cru, Bristol for their Sip & Pour event with Glow Candle Company. I had such an amazing time, drinks, charcuterie, the best chocolate covered strawberries ever, great company and of course learning how to make my own candle. I really enjoyed this experience and when the opportunity came again to make another candle with my brother, I did. Our candle making experience was at Haus of Assembly. Our instructor was so personable, we talked the entire session and since the class was just us, it was like we rented out the entire space — always my mood!

Obstacle Course
Now, there’s nothing about me that gives outdoor adventure girl (actually I have gone ziplining, parasailing and jumped in a bluehole so it may give that, but I’m really not…or am I) but I saw that Champions Spirit Country Club has an obstacle course and I can definitely see how that can be so much fun. If you like a challenge, rope climbing and always wanted to participate in the Disney Channel Games or Wipeout, I think this is the thing to do for you!
Pottery Painting
Last October, I went to PYOP Bahamas for their Halloween pottery painting experience. I chose a cauldron shaped mug and painted it in a Hocus Pocus inspired theme. It was so relaxing to just sit and paint, figuring out the perfect colors and watching my masterpiece come to life. CAB Gallery & Studio also has an art and glaze bar that I’ve been meaning to try, so I’ll probably check them out before the end of the year.

Rug Making
Did you know that we had a rug making class in Nassau? Tuff Studios offers custom rug making classes only on Sundays. I’ve seen a few tiktoks about it and watching the rug tufting looks so satisfying and would make such a cute decor piece.
Cinematic Dining
Have you ever wondered what it would be like to eat the food in your favorite movie? Eat the Scene Bahamas is bringing those dreams to life with their cinematic dining experience. Each season, they feature a nostalgic film, pairing food and drinks that are perfectly timed with the movie. Their next experience is on Saturday October 17th where they’ll be featuring Hocus Pocus. Past shows featured The Princess Diaries and White Chicks.

And there you have it, more fun things to do in Nassau. You can’t say there’s nothing to do now!
