It’s a new year and if “more enjoyment” is on your list of things to do this year, you’ve come to the right place. Even though, it’s still a pan pizza outside, there are some exciting things you can do in Nassau right now. You can become a wine maker for the day, channel your inner royal with archery or try to get a hole in one on the mini golf course. Here are 3 Fun Activities To Do In Nassau.
As usual, I wanted to try a new activity for my birthday celebrations. I heard about Graycliff’s wine making experience before but never got around to doing it. I am so happy I finally did. When I arrived there were wine glasses, measuring cups and cylinders, labels and of course chocolate already set on the table. My friend and I had our own private class and our instructor was great. She was pleasant and knowledgeable. She told us about the different varietals, how they are stored and the history of Graycliff and Bahama Barrels. The class was so fun, I felt like I had been transported to a winery in Tuscany and was living the life I always imagined. The best part of this experience was leaving with my own blend of wine with a personalized label to celebrate my birthday. If you are looking for an unique adventure, I would definitely recommend this.
Location: Bahama Barrels at Graycliff
Price: $ 49.95 USD (about $55 BSD)

2. Mini Blue
Did you know that we have a 18 hole miniature golf course here? Located at Baha Mar, this golf course is an awesome activity for everyone. My friends and I went and laughed the entire time, because we did not know what we were doing and had to fetch our golf balls out of the pond a few times. Depending on the amount of persons, the course can take about an hour. We went on a weekday after 5pm and had the course to ourselves, until about the 14th hole. This was such a great activity, I am planning to go back with my family.
Location: Grand Hyatt at Baha Mar (near Racquet Club)
Price: $20 plus VAT (registered guests) or $25 plus VAT (non registered guests)

I’ve had an interest in archery for as long as I can remember. I’m sure it stemmed from me watching The Swan Princess (one of my favorite movies) or Brave. I was “bored in the house, in the house bored” and was researching things to do on the island that did not involve food and drinks and came across Bahamas Archery. My dad and I went on a Sunday afternoon and had such a great time. I hit the bullseye and my inner princess was surely shining through. I intend on taking more lessons soon.
Location: St Paul’s Sport Field at Lyford Cay
Price: $25
