An all inclusive brunch with a view, what more can a girl ask for? I recently visited Dune at the Four Seasons Ocean Club and it was a fabulous time. The Moet was flowing, the food was delicious and I was in a great company. I haven’t had a brunch experience home since January 2020, which is so wild because I am definitely a brunch kinda girl but it’s clear that I’ve been enjoying dinners more. Have you read my previous Dining with Derencia?

Brunch at Dune is only on Sundays and starts at 12pm and ends at 3pm. I suggest being on time so that you can indulge in all the deliciousness for the full 3 hours. As soon as we arrived, our reservation was confirmed, vaccination cards were checked (a vaccination card or antigen test within 7 days is required), we sanitized and were offered mimosas, so you know, brunch mood was in full effect.

Breakfast
The set up is buffet style with a few servers for the live stations making omelets, egg benedicts and stir fry. I went straight for the buttermilk fried chicken and waffles and I was not disappointed. I topped my waffles with powdered sugar, strawberries, blackberries and syrup. Next, I ordered a omelet filled with mushrooms, spinach, sweet peppers, onions, ham, mozzarella and feta cheeses with a side of bacon and potatoes. In between champagne sipping, I ate my traditional breakfast spread and it was tasty. The omelet was cheesy and filled with everything just how I like it.

Seafood
As we ate, a seafood tower was placed on the table. I was completely mind blown. I did not know that this was included. The tower was adorned with an assortment of crab legs, conch salad, mussels, shrimps, oysters and tuna tartar. If you are a seafood lover or just looking to experience something new, you would enjoy this.

Salads
Next it was time to try the salads. Dune has a wide variety of salads in the cutest mason jars. Tomato feta, cajun shrimp and mango, caesar, roasted cauliflower just to name a few were displayed. I really enjoyed the curry chicken and ceasar salads.

Lamb Chops & Lobster
Please feel free to start with whatever you want first, yes even dessert. I’m not sure if it was because they were on the outside or that my subconscious said breakfast like food first, but it was finally time to try the two things I had been dreaming of: lamb chops and lobster. Honestly, I only came for the mimosas, lamb and lobster- everything else was a wonderful bonus. Listen to me, “magnifique” (look at me speaking French).

Dessert
At this point, I was on mimosa number 5 or 6 and having an excellent time with my friends. It was now time for dessert. The dessert offerings included macaroons, cheesecake, carrot cake, mousse, muffins, cookie sandwiches, chocolate cake, raspberry shortcake and more. I really enjoyed the blue macaroons, cheesecake and chocolate covered strawberries.

If you are looking for an amazing brunch experience, you have to visit Dune. At $152.40 per person (taxes included) you have unlimited orange, cranberry and raspberry mimosas, a selection of fried and grilled chicken, roasted ribeye, salmon wellington, baked macaroni, lots of salad options, waffles with all the toppings, bacon, roasted potatoes, live omelet, egg benedict and stir fry stations, Bahamian classics like boiled fish and conch chowder, a personal seafood tower for your table, lamb chops, lobster, vegetables and an array of desserts. This brunch is definitely iconic and Dining with Derencia approved!
I almost want to come just to dine with you. As I read through your experience, it’s definitely mouth-watering and for sure worth every penny for all that you’ve pictured and described. Derencia approved and now I’m excited to do some testing.
